Here is Calculated Survival's folding hatchet. Yes, a folding hatchet, not a folding knife. This is a great camping tool and is super compact and lightweight, perfect for putting in your camping pack. This folding hatchet doesn't even need a sheath since the blade folds into itself. The folding hatchet only weighs a little over a pound at 20 ounces. The total length of this hatchet 8.5 inches when folded and 15 inches when fully extended. The blade of the hatchet is made from black powder coated 52100 high carbon steel and is 3 inches long and 3/16 of an inch thick. The folding hatchet's handle is made from tough black canvas micarta. The hatchet locks open by using a secure double-hook lockback mechanism so you don't have to worry about this hatchet closing on you while using it.
